FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, June 12, 2014
Haydenfilms Institute is proud to announce its fiscal sponsorship with Allentown, Pa. filmmakers Eric and Jill Bugbee and Blue Trail Entertainment. With a mission of empowering, educating and funding global independent and student filmmakers, Haydenfilms Institute continues to support local film projects happening in Eastern Pa.
“The Institute aims to bring movie makers into the Lehigh Valley and we couldn’t be more proud to support Blue Trail Entertainment’s film, Heroes of Dirt shot in our own backyard,” Hayden Craddolph, Executive Director of Haydenfilms Institute, says. “It is our duty to gain the support of the community and appeal to companies looking for a new way to get their brand integrated.”
Brought to the screen by a core crew of filmmakers who have strong roots spanning three decades in BMX dirt jumping and street riding, Heroes of Dirt is an unforgettable story of triumph of the human spirit, coupled with a strong dose of riding by legendary pros and hardcore locals in the sport. The film has garnered national recognition from ESPN, Extreme Sports, Transworld RIDE BMX Magazine, DIG BMX, WFMZ TV, The Morning Call and more.
“Beyond the scope of its high-quality production value,” Mayor of Allentown Ed Pawloski explains, the film is a “favorable representation of the City of Allentown at this time of our economic renaissance” and “the best film project to come out of our city thus far. It is a fun-filled action movie, centered around some great BMX competitive stunt riding both with a life-changing mentorship theme that appeals to reach at-risk youth for the greater good.”
Haydenfilms Institute and Blue Trail Entertainment will hold a unique world film premiere and festival event this fall and are currently looking for support from local businesses interested in representing Allentown on a national stage and reaching a large and engaged audience.
