The Hollow Tree is a 2007 film directed by Patrick Steward and co-produced by Haydenfilms. It tells the touching story of a runaway who encounters a mysterious stranger who enlightens him to the reality of “home.” Haydenfilms was responsible for fundraising the entirety of the $80,000 production budget as well as facilitated casting calls and other miscellaneous areas of production. The Hollow Tree competed in the 2008-2010 festival circuit and was screened at Cannes and the Hamptons International Film Festival, among others.
